Tire shop with great customer service.
The Old Battle Axe wants to have the tires rotated on her car again. The original factory tires have over 54K miles on them and that's pretty darn good, but knowing the way my wife baby's her car, it's not surprising. I on the other hand, can barely squeeze 20K out of mine. I guess I "enjoy" driving my car more than she does her's. LOL.
Anyways, I stopped by the tire shop for the tire rotation. $15 bucks. That's almost half of what the dealer charges. But my main concern were the visible cracks I noticed on the tires, so I asked Rapi to check them out. (Rapi, IMO seems like a very honest guy.) He said the tires should last another 9K miles, but with my wife and son in this car seven days a week, I didn't want to chance it. So Rapi gave me price quotes for OE tires and several others that would offer the ride and durability close to OE spec. (Without the OE spec price tag of course.) This is nice, because I hate it when salesmen push only one product and it's usually the product that puts the most money in their pocket.
So new tires, balanced and mounted. Followed by a 4 wheel alignment. Bam!!! That was so nice and easy, I didn't even break a sweat. =D
Oh, and they also offer road hazard insurance. Which is just $50 bucks. So if your tires get damaged, they repair it. But if they can't repair it, then you get a new tire. All for free. Road hazard insurance also includes free tire rotations. This is a BIG PLUS, because my wife has her tires rotated every-other oil change, so paying $50 bucks up front will save me a lot of money down the road. (No pun intended.)
They just need more comfortable chairs in their waiting area.

One of my worst experiences at a Tire/Wheel Repair store.
I called the company and asked how much they charged for a 4 wheel alignment. The rep said $70. I went to get an alignment to fix a pull in my car. Once they completed the alignment, they said the pull could not be fixed. Huh? Isn't an alignment supposed to correct that? Then what did I pay for? Why didn't they tell me this before the service was done? What a rip off!! Rep said pull was internal problem needed to be fixed at body shop. (Yea, right). In addition, the rep didn't even honor the $20 coupon. Said discount already included (I never mentioned the coupon when I called). Talk about adding insult to injury!! I wrote to corporate and complained. Never received a response. This was my first and will definitely be my last visit to this store. Think hard and twice before you go this store. Deceptive service, questionable practices, and high prices equals NO recommendation.
